Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit
The Project Manager will report through Information Technology Services (ITS) but will be dedicated to supporting the needs of Enrollment Management and Academic Affairs (EM & AAF). This position will be focused on managing EM & AAF’s pipeline of key business and IT initiatives to help ensure that work gets properly prioritized, resourced, and completed on time and within budget. This position will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team to help ensure that the technology needs of EM & AAF are met.
Position Summary
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading complex multi-disciplinary projects to deliver solutions that achieve the stated business objectives outlined in the project charter. This position will have overall responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and deliverables, which includes applying techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management. The project manager will provide day-to-day direction to a cross-functional project team and regular project status updates to EM & AAF and ITS leadership
Minimum Qualifications
Mid to late career with Master’s degree and 2-4 yrs experience; or Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 yrs experience; or equivalent combination of education/experience.
