- Location: 744 S Webster Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301
- Work Schedule: 40 hours/week: Monday-Friday 11-7:30, every other weekend and holiday
Job Description:
Assists in the provision of quality nutritional care to patients involving direct patient interaction, assistance with daily meal selection, accurate and safe menu preparation, and aiding the dietitians in the routine delivery of nutrition care.
Essential Job Duties:
- Monitors and ensures quality standards of nutritional care
- Promotes daily patient interaction and assistance with menu selection
- Assists the Registered Dietitians in the routine delivery of nutrition care
- Accurately prepares/checks dietary restricted menus ensuring patent safety
- Completes nutrition related projects as assigned
- Acts as a resource to Diet Assistant
- Provides basic diet education as directed by Registered Dietitians
- Provides age-appropriate care/service as applicable to role
- Assures reliable, predictable outcomes and no needless waits
- Uses Information Systems to their full capability
- Duties as defined by specific department (if applicable)
- Attends regularly-scheduled and assigned shifts
- Works in a call center clerk position as need
- Manages daily operations of call center
- Responsible for training new call center clerks
- Responsible for diet training for hosts
- Maintains CBORD database diet information
Qualifications:
Nutrition or Nutritional Science-related degree preferred.
Dietetic Technician Registration preferred.
Experience in clinical setting preferred.
