Job Summary

  • 7,500 Retention Bonus** Coordinates and performs aspects of patient care before, during, and after Cardiac Cath/ EP/Hybrid OR related procedures. Circulates, scrubs using aseptic or sterile technique, monitors and documents hemodynamics and patient events during procedure to provide quality patient care for patients undergoing procedures in the Cardiac Cath/EP Lab/Hybrid OR. Utilization and management of digital x-ray equipment and archiving system.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited RCIS or ARRT program. Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RTR).
  • Substitutable Education & Experience: Registered Nurse or Respiratory therapist with RCIS/RCES certification and at least 2 years’ experience in the Cath/EP setting
  • Required Certifications/Licensure: ARRT candidates must have/obtain SC Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA); RCIS candidates must have/obtain licenses from SC Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation (LLR), as well as SC Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA); BLS required at hire; ACLS mandatory or completed within 6 months of hire
