SUMMARY:
The Financial Analyst will provide ongoing analytical support for Lendmark Financial Services using various financial systems.
MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Primarily responsible for the calculation and reconciliation of incentives on a monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual basis which includes gathering achievement against targets from financial systems.
- Performs analysis of incentive compensation results to measure the effectiveness against corporate goals.
- Prepares financial and analytic reporting and analysis related to incentive compensation and other financial systems.
- Maintains a central repository of all incentive compensation calculations and metrics.
- Designs and implements technical solutions to support business strategies related to incentive compensation.
- Configures and maintains the incentive compensation calculation system, including data integrations, calculation models, hierarchy tables, calculations, and data dictionary
- Creates and runs SQL queries to ensure accuracy of incentives system
- Creates and maintains VBA Macros
- Ad-hoc reporting for financial systems as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- B.A. or B.S. in business discipline including finance, accounting, or economics.
- Strong analytical skills and data analysis and manipulation skills
- Incentives system experience
- Experience in SQL and VBA
- Experience with managing data tools and hierarchy in reporting
- Superior Excel skills
- 2-4 years highly relevant work experience
- Interpersonal skills are necessary to interact effectively with a variety of individuals.
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and concentrate on detailed information.
- The ability to cooperate in a team environment is critical.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $91,000 annually, based on the specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Experience of the selected candidate.
- This position is eligible for Semi Annual Incentive compensation based on individual and company performance guidelines.
