Job Title: Senior Collections Strategist

Job Summary/Purpose

Conducts analysis and develops strategies to minimize financial risk while providing improvements to customer satisfaction to the organization by leveraging pay behavior of existing customers to develop collection segments. Develop collection strategy for various customer segments which includes recommendations for appropriate action to recover overdue payments across each OpCo.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis and development of the collection customer strategic approach across all operating companies within regulations.
  • Proactively partner with operating companies to ensure collection strategy, including pay options, are aligned with their commitments and or standards.
  • Present collection strategy recommendations to senior management for review and approval. Submit supporting documentation to Collections team and operating companies to drive alignment of collection customers options to achieve bad debt goals.
  • Establish standard procedures from the review of customer pay data to refresh pay plan options based on customer segmentation data and operating companies’ requirements.
  • Develop enhancements to credit policies consistent with regulatory requirements across operating companies to drive reduced arrears and increased customer satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum education required of the position

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.

Minimum experience required of the position

  • 7+ years
  • Collections related experience and managing customer segments is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with executive level (C-Suite) communications both verbal and written.
