What Transportation contributes to Cardinal Health

Transportation is responsible for the movement of materials and products between suppliers, manufacturing, warehousing, and the customer. Management of transportation assets and systems to gain greater service, cost efficiency and optimization of processes.

Accountabilities

  • Participates in federal audits.
  • Interact and communicate with suppliers to resolve any issue, questions or discrepancies.
  • Work with labels, global trade, sorting, among others.
  • Must have sense of urgency in order to attend and resolve requests.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills.
  • This position works directly with US Virgin Islands Clients.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1+ year of experience in related field is preferred.
  • Experience in an Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) is preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel is required
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) Written and Verbal is required.
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 5:00am to 1:30pm, must be able to work Saturdays, Extended Hours and Holidays if necessary.
  • Lift weight between 40 to 60 pounds is required.
  • Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks.
