Job Title: Aseptic Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Aseptic Technician to join our innovative team. This role requires a professional who is adept in cleanroom aseptic procedures and has a strong foundation in pharmaceutical manufacturing. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of enhanced formulations and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, including tablet presses and liquid gel capsule filling machines.
  • Conduct batch record reviews and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Perform sampling techniques and wet chemistry tests such as pH and viscosity measurements.
  • Conduct routine monitoring and preventative maintenance of equipment.
  • Interpret, evaluate, and document repair work results.
  • Manage the inventory of manufacturing supplies.
  • Assist in assembling, disassembling, and cleaning mechanical equipment.
  • Record and maintain accountability of APIs, excipients, and components throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Weigh and prepare ingredients for product manufacturing, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), batch records, and good documentation practices.
  • Comply with safety and environmental guidelines, utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of cleanroom aseptic experience.
  • 1+ years of pharmaceutical experience.
  • Ability to collect data and run experiments.
  • Proficiency in following SOPs and documenting work.
  • Experience with cGMP standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in a relevant field.
  • Familiarity with wet chemistry techniques.
  • 1-5 years of manufacturing experience.

Work Environment

The position operates within a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on developing enhanced formulations and enabling technologies for drug candidates. The work is conducted in a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to nano-particle technologies and pharmaceutical development. You will work on a team of two other manufacturing technicians, primarily on the first shift from 8am-5pm. The role involves being on your feet most of the day and requires a commitment to the organization's start-up vision. The work environment encourages rapid, comprehensive, and cost-effective program execution for partners in various sectors of the pharmaceutical industry.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $23.00/hr.
