Job Description:
This role will be reporting into AVP, Expense Reporting & Analysis, assisting in the performance analysis on the financial drivers of our Life and Health (L&H) business in Hong Kong, with a focus on expense management. Responsibilities include assisting in budget and forecast planning processes, and providing business insights to help our L&H leaders achieve strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Prepare month-end reporting data along with expense allocation data to facilitate the team in conducting the Monthly Business Review (MBR) with senior management
- Produce quality management reports to support business decisions and provide analytical support to assist the management team in monitoring financial performance on expense management
- Collaborate across different business functions to provide analytical support on expenses related matters
- Assist in the Operating Plan and Strategic Plan processes and provide analytical support, including budget data collection and consolidation
- Provide support on management reporting system maintenance, database management, and system UAT
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines
- 2 - 3 years experiences in a finance function, preferably in the life insurance industry
- Experience in financial planning/management reporting and expenses management in insurance industry will be an advantage
- Experience in Tableau is an added advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and solid knowledge in database management
- Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Officer.
