Job Overview:
Nursing Professional Development Practitioner who plays a multifaceted role in enhancing nursing practice and improving patient care. Will act as an educator, change agent, mentor, facilitator of learning and promoter of evidence-based practice and professional growth for nurses. Responsibilities include assessing learning needs, developing and delivering educational programs and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to improve quality and safety.

Education:
BSN required. Master's Degree preferred.
License:
RN license
Certification:
NPD (Nursing Professional Development) certification preferred
BLS Instructor/Trainer or ACLS Instructor/Trainer preferred. Required within 6 months
TB Instructor within 6 months
AHA (American Heart Association) Training Center Coordinator Training within 6 months
Primary Nurse Planner training within 6 months
