Description

The Art Department at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga is seeking part time faculty to teach courses in a variety of visual arts disciplines:

  • Painting and Drawing
  • Sculpture
  • Graphic Design ( Interactive Design, UX and UI Design)
  • Photography ( Analog and Digital)

Instructors are responsible for leveraging their expertise to deliver education services to students through:

  • Preparing course plans and materials
  • Delivering courses
  • Monitoring progress/attendance
  • Advising students
  • Recording grades and submitting reports

Qualifications

Instructors with an MFA degree in the relevant discipline with at least two (2) years of teaching experience preferred. This is a part-time, temporary position that may require day, evening and/or weekend availability.
