Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development, including data structures/algorithms.
  • 1 year of experience in technical leadership, people management, supervision, or team leadership.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Android app development.
  • Experience building camera stack on Operating System (OS) or framework level.
  • Experience in development of Android OS.
  • Knowledge of camera technologies (e.g., 3A).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of a smooth and delightful camera experience for Android Desktop, leveraging Google AI/ML technologies.
  • Drive and develop the built-in camera application for Android Desktop.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., Product Manager, User Experience (UX) Designer, Technical Program Manager, etc.) to do team planning and decision making.
  • Grow and lead a team to deliver the premier camera experience on ChromeOS and Android Desktop.
