Summary: Safely and effectively transports patients. Selects and prioritizes transports according to policy. Effectively communicates with appropriate departments regarding transport status and demonstrates effective communication through courteous behavior and the hospital hand-off process. Requirements: High school education or equivalent. Current Basic Life Support Certification strongly preferred (must complete CPR certification within 8 weeks of orientation).
