Position Summary

We’re currently looking for a Finance Manager to join our team in Brook Park, OH.

The Finance Manager of Credit First National Association (CFNA) is responsible for the financial planning and forecasting, management reporting, and the overall financial analysis function of the Finance team at CFNA. The individual partners with the Finance team, both at CFNA and Bridgestone Americas in Nashville, as well as a cross-functional team across CFNA. The position requires deep knowledge of financial management, customer & product profitability, and banking operations. The role reports directly to the CFNA Executive Director of Finance, Risk, & Compliance

  • This role is a HYBRID position in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday @ CFNA in Brook Park, OH. ***

Responsibilities

  • Build & continuously develop a forecasting & reporting framework that provides insights into business performance. Recommend corrective actions to keep the business on target
  • Drive financial performance through the company by highlighting areas that the business is thriving and areas for improvement. This includes a wide range of focus areas including credit card sales, strategic investments, regulatory changes, and operating expenses
  • Develop both short term and long term forecast models and effectively communicate the outlook to local and executive leadership
  • Collaborate with leadership team on key issues that impact the business (e.g. fraud losses, loan loss, credit card sales, rebate programs, product expansion, etc.) and be a strategic partner in driving results
  • Assist the finance & accounting team through an efficient, accurate, and transparent close process with prior banking expertise & insights gathered through business collaboration
  • Produce insights & analyses that can be effectively presented at an executive level (include board of directors and BSAM executive team) with an emphasis on key findings, potential risks, and strategic opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvement within the business with special regard to finance operations. This includes working with teammates across the CFNA Finance team to improvement engagement & growth and well as minimize risk through cross-training
  • Implement accounting process improvements and assist with special projects

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting and MBA is preferred
  • 6+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, budgeting and management reporting with increasing level of responsibility and proven leadership
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting and understanding of bank regulations
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skillset
  • Demonstrated leadership, influencing and decision-making capability
  • Financial services experience required with consumer credit experience preferred
  • Strategic thinker that uses qualitative approach & foundational industry knowledge to guide towards profitable growth
  • Success working with cross-functional teams within Finance and specifically within Risk, Marketing, Operations, and Analytics at a lending institution
