The Staff Procurement Operations Analyst will play a pivotal role in optimizing the company’s procurement function by overseeing procurement systems and tools, and driving continuous process improvement. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing a systems strategy that ensures procurement platforms are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business needs. As a strategic leader, this role will also serve as a key liaison between Procurement and cross-functional partners including IT, Finance, and Compliance, ensuring procurement operations are integrated with broader enterprise goals.

Their leadership in building and managing performance metrics, reporting frameworks, and system enhancements will empower better decision-making across the business. Additionally, their focus on talent development within the team will support long-term capability growth and succession planning, further strengthening the procurement function’s impact on the organization.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead procurement operations team and oversee daily procurement policies, processes and tools.
  • Define and implement system strategy and roadmap for procurement platforms (ERP, eProcurement, etc.).
  • Serve as key business partner to cross functional partners including IT, Finance, legal, and Compliance.
  • Lead reporting, analytics, and dashboards to inform procurement strategic decisions.
  • Establish a vendor solution for transactional and tactical sourcing and procurement activities
  • Develop and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and compliance metrics across procurement activities.
  • Drive process standardization and automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage vendor relationships related to procurement systems and tools.
  • Coach and mentor team members; contribute to talent development and succession planning

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of procurement experience, preferably in a high-growth or complex environment.
  • 5+ years of experience developing and deploying procurement processes and tools
  • Experience leading teams, with a strong ability to develop and mentor direct reports.
  • Expertise in procurement process & systems strategy, operations, and compliance, including industry best practices.
  • Proven experience in business partnerships, vendor management, supplier negotiations, and optimizing external partnerships.
  • Extensive experience with procurement platforms (e.g., Ariba, ERP, eProcurement) and an understanding of system configurations and reporting/analytics.
  • Strong operational, analytical, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with financial tools and budget management.

Location

This hybrid role entails working in the office three days per week in our Foster City office (HQ).

Compensation

There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $200,000 to $221,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
