About the Team: The North America Global Business Solutions (NA GBS) team is a strategic and consultative partner to the largest advertisers and agencies in the world, helping them to develop TikTok solutions that build businesses and brands across our integrated suite of advertising products. The team plays a critical role in establishing and leading strategic partnerships to drive revenue, relationships and long-term growth. About the Role: We are seeking a Comms Planning Manager to lead a portfolio of large, innovative brands. In this role, you will drive communications strategy across your assigned portfolio and its campaigns, developing sustainable and scalable strategies that span master brand initiatives and individual product or service campaigns. You will work across a wide range of cross functional teams and are expected to fully understand Tiktok's full ecosystem to identify and activate different expertise as needed to meet client objectives. You will have the opportunity to influence TikTok's planning approach, including product solutions and measurement strategies. This role requires expertise across both brand and performance strategies, with strong operational knowledge of performance media implementation and optimization. You are highly proficient in media tracking, measurement tools, planning platforms, and automation technologies. You have a proven ability to lead teams, align diverse stakeholders around common goals, and bring strategic rigor to every project. You have in-depth knowledge about planning & strategy, the digital & tech landscape, and marketing & media trends. Responsibilities: - Develop integrated, data-driven, full-funnel TikTok strategies that leverage both earned and owned touchpoints across campaign, quarterly, and annual briefs. - Own revenue growth for your accounts by consulting clients to achieve their business and marketing goals through strategic planning, while expanding TikTok’s share of their media investment and overall business. - Create compelling Comms Planning materials, frameworks, and best practice guidelines tailored to your accounts, driving consistency, scalability, and investment opportunities. - Proactively identify high-potential briefs and growth opportunities that deliver standout, business-impacting work—generating fame for both the client and TikTok. - Work closely with the TikTok sales teams to ensure your recommendations support long term objectives and business growth plans - Partner with cross functional Creative and Creator leads to design integrated, insight-led solutions backed by strong comms strategy that elevates client outcomes. - Build trust with client stakeholders and ensure strong client relationships to deepen engagement and unlock incremental investment. - Utilize internal and external resources and research to generate consumer, cultural and platform insights that drive comms strategy - Champion the strategic role of TikTok and its diverse product suite across the consumer journey, tailoring recommendations to different marketing objectives and funnel stages. - Understand different measurements of success and KPI setting for evolving advertising formats. Design measurement roadmaps and pilots in partnership with XFN - Understand the marketing & media landscape and stakeholders to engage specialists resources (internal and external) as needed - Act as a Comms Planning expert within the organization—sharing knowledge, elevating strategic thinking, and coaching teams to embed communications excellence into their work.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in comms strategy, media strategy/planning or digital planning at an agency or publisher - Must be willing to work in New York, NY Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in planning beyond 'traditional' paid media, i.e. influencer solutions, brand-owned platforms, organic content solutions, creative strategy, PR , is a great advantage - Strong experience in performance media, across both strategy & tactical operations - Experience working in a fast-moving matrix organization with experience in designing and implementing new processes, templates and frameworks, and experience in workshop facilitation - Expertise in portfolio management, with the ability to oversee multiple business lines, verticals, and accounts simultaneously. - Experience in crafting best-in-class campaign strategies and comms solutions for brands - Ability to articulate the role of marketing and comms in driving business growth, to influence budget allocations and investment strategy - Ability to manage multiple complex workstreams under tight deadlines by collaborating effectively with creative, media, and business stakeholders. - Strong presentation skills; comfortable engaging in conversations with c-suite stakeholders, able to consult and influence clients on strategic questions - Well-versed in a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods and tools, demonstrates rigour in creating consumer and category analysis
