Nursing Shift Supervisor- Children's Center for Medically Fragile Children
To supervise the staff and operations of nursing care for assigned areas or units. To schedule and ensure appropriate staffing. To ensure that supplies and equipment are available. To work with the nurse managers and clinical directors to resolve any issues pertaining to the assigned area or unit. To educate and consult patients and families regarding their concerns. To perform job duties in accordance with the medical center's purpose.
Licensed as RN for two (2) years. Two years of RN experience in specified area preferred. BSN preferred.
Certifications, Licenses or Registration Required: Valid RN license.
Knowledge of nursing procedures. Verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and registered nurses. Knowledge and understanding of computer systems, tools, and programs. Supervisory skills. Possesses current competencies in nursing clinical practice.
