G/T Summer Institutes for Talent Development

This program offers additional advanced-level instruction and enrichment experiences not regularly available during the academic school year. Rigorous instruction focusing on talent development is offered in mathematics, science, social studies, language arts, technology and fine arts.

DATES/LOCATIONS/TIMES:

  • Session I: June 26-July 7 (Monday-Friday; no program on Monday, July 4th)
  • Session II: July 10-July 21
  • 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. (program start and end times may change)
  • Burleigh Manor Middle School (All classes are in-person.)

SALARY RATES

Non-HCPSS Teachers will receive $41.19 an hour.

Non-HCPSS Paraeducators will receive $17.53 an hour.

Teacher Applicants must submit a complete application with the following items:

  • work history, volunteer work, and/or dates of unemployment for the past 5 years
  • three professional references that supervised you in a paid or volunteer capacity
  • Official College transcript
  • A copy of your teacher certification

Paraeducator Applicants must submit a complete application with the following items:

  • work history, volunteer work, and/or dates of unemployment for the past 5 years - If you are a student, you may document this information under experience.
  • three professional references that supervised you in a paid or volunteer capacity - If you are a student, you may use teacher, advisor, counselor, and/or administrators.
  • High school diploma, GED or higher - If you are a student, you may provide a copy of your HS transcript.
  • If you are a student between the ages of 16-17, you must also provide a work permit.
