About Us - Hospitalist Group
The Hospitalist group is comprised of Internal Medicine and Family Medicine physicians specializing in providing care to hospitalized patients.
Our department includes 20 physicians, two nurse practitioners and two non-clinical support staff.
What You’ll Do
The Hospitalist Office Specialist will support our group of physicians with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our team. Some of the expected responsibilities are answering incoming calls, assisting pharmacies, patients, and other callers to resolve questions and concerns, assign and review daily billing and provide feedback to physicians and nurse practitioners regarding missed bills as well as other reporting. The Hospitalist Office Specialist will also learn the ins and outs of creating the Hospitalist Rounding List and other reports and will provide office coverage in the absence of the Hospitalist Coordinator.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, Comfortable learning new skills
Capable of working independently with minimal oversight
Preferred Requirements
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Prefer familiarity with Meditech electronic health record
