Institutional Securities Technology (IST) develops and oversees the overall technology strategy and bespoke technology solutions to drive and enable the institutional businesses and enterprise-wide functions. IST’s ‘clients’ include Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Investment Banking, Research, Prime Brokerage and Global Capital Markets.
ESTAR
Develops trading & Analytics platform for IST, structured OTC Trading, Market Making & risk platform
for IED

This is a Vice President position within our Technical Specialist function, which is responsible for providing extensive subject matter expertise and reinforcing the ability of business and technology audit teams to appropriately assess risk and determine and execute coverage.

What you’ll do in the role:
Morgan Stanley’s market leading institutional equity derivatives business is powered by a world class technology platform from front to back. Our platform manages the processing of Structured Products and OTC’s for the exotic derivatives business. Business is growing 10X over last few years and there has been effort underway to build the data and analytics platofrm for business to be able to gain insight into that data across various F2B responsible for various functional aspect of derivatives trading buiseness in unfied way to drive further initiatives to earn revenue,reducing risk and being more efficient at managing the business.
You will lead the effort to build the data and analytics platform for equity derivatives business which involves colloborating across F2b business stakeholder (sales, traders, strats, etc.) , tech teams ,quants team, financial engineer to understand the business need ,systems and various data being produced by various systems and architecting,designing and building the platform that is able to bring the data from heterogeneous data sources ,transform and co-related them and offer the access to the buisess in the
