The Department of Apparel, Events, and Hospitality Management (AESHM) in the College of Health and Human Sciences at Iowa State University invites applications for a 9-month term faculty position at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor in the Fashion Design and Merchandising (FDM) program to teach courses in fashion trend forecasting, global sourcing, retail merchandising, and entrepreneurship. Initial appointment length is one year. Renewal parameters are determined by performance and department needs. Start date is August 16, 2025.

The Department of Apparel, Events, and Hospitality Management is one of five academic units in the College of Human Sciences and offers B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees. Iowa State University’s apparel design and product development courses are offered through the Fashion Design and Merchandising Program.
