In this role you will be responsible for conceiving, prioritizing, and executing Sales Planning automation initiatives, to include demand forecasting, planning, and optimization. You will work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Science, and customers to ensure we deliver the right features to address business needs on time. functions. About the team
We create products that enable seamless use of the total unit forecast (at different price points), optimization-based recommendation for promotions schedules, and automate propagation of price and projected units through execution systems. We achieve this by (a) creating science models to generate optimized prices for future promotions based on business goals, guardrails, and science forecasts, (b) automating the manual steps involved in planning, updates, approval, and execution of promotions, and (c) managing and improving error prevention and mitigation systems.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
