Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and customer-oriented Food Server to join our team in Kenner, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining service while ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive and efficient service delivery.

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using point-of-sale systems
• Serve food and beverages according to established standards and timing
• Set up dining areas with appropriate table settings and condiments
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned station throughout service
• Process guest payments and handle cash/credit transactions accurately
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding orders and special requests
• Monitor and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and modifications
• Clear tables, reset places, and maintain a clean dining environment
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service operations
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures

Qualifications

• Six months of previous food service experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• Physical ability to stand and walk for entire shift duration
• Capability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Ability to push and pull service equipment weighing up to 100 pounds
• Basic mathematical skills for handling financial transactions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Excellent time management and multitasking capabilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented mindset with strong collaborative skills
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
