Duties & Responsibilities

  • Complete and verify athletic tracers received from outside institutions to ensure and document eligibility for incoming and outgoing student athletes
  • Assist with student athlete candidate submissions for conference and NCAA awards and recognitions
  • Oversee BESPY Award point disbursements
  • Review NCAA eligibility checklists to maintain accurate seasons and semesters used, good academic standing, and full-time enrollment
  • Utilize ARMS software to verify and approve CARA hours, official/unofficial visits, athletic aid agreements, and tryout forms
  • Communicate with high school counselors and the NCAA to maintain up to date approved core course lists and provide title requests for missing core course titles
  • Keep current information in Compliance Assistant 2.0 for all student athlete’s athletic and academic information
  • Evaluate transcripts of incoming high school, 2-year, and 4-year transfers
  • Maintain initial eligibility checklists and communicate with head coaches the status of incoming student athletes
  • Send athletic tracers to transfer portal contact and compliance administrators for incoming PSAs
  • Utilize Microsoft Teams for all Compliance documentation
  • Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor

Minimum Requirements

  • Successful completion of criminal history records check.

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

This is a temporary position that will conclude December 2025
