Healthcare Analytics Developer

Job Description:

The Health Services Analyst II (Healthcare Analytics Developer) is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the quality of health care programs.

Location: This is a hybrid position and will require 1 day per week in the office.

How you will make an impact:

  • Preparing and communicating information to appropriate parties regarding health care programs and their level of quality.
  • Recommending changes in areas of deficiency to bring area up to government and company regulations and standards.
  • Collecting and integrating data, analyzing and interpreting it, developing analytics solutions, and creating dashboards and reports.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and providing technical support and training.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires B.A./B.S degree; or 2 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Proficiency in Database Management Systems (DBMS) tools, along with significant experience in SQL for coding and querying data.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office. Skills in data visualization are highly desirable, particularly experience with both Power BI and Tableau for developing impactful visualizations.
  • Expertise in data analysis using SQL, and familiarity with R are considered advantageous. Additional programming knowledge in languages such as Python, C++, or JavaScript is preferred, supporting data processing and automation tasks.
  • Strong project management skills will and ability to effectively drive and implement data initiatives within the team.
