PAY: $17/ hr

HOURS / SHIFT: 1st Shift

DESCRIPTION:

The Perk/ Packaging Operator is responsible for producing and packaging syrup / extract batches for the syrup department following all GMP and Safety procedures. They ensure all activities are handled in accordance with Finlays Solutions’ mission, business philosophy, ethics, and goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Production: Produce syrup batches per blend orders, perk ground coffee to make extracts, and test products according to work specifications.
• Packaging: package extracts in pails, drums and totes
• Documentation: Document all lot numbers of raw material ingredients and downtime
• GMPs: Responsible for operating in line with Good Manufacturing Processes, Food Safety, and other regulatory requirements
• Other Duties as Assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High School Diploma and GED
• Experience: Mechanically inclined and an understanding of production environments
• Skills: Food safety, must be able to perform mathematical conversions, strong attention to detail and quality conscious
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Work Environment: Warehouse/Production setting with fluctuating hot temperatures and loud noises
• Physical Requirements: Required to walk, bend, reach, and stand for entire shift and lift up to 85 pounds
