POSITION: CNA Program Manager

LOCATION: NDSCS – Fargo, North Dakota

TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Full-time, 12-month, benefited position

JOB SUMMARY: The CNA Program Manager is responsible for the delivery, implementation, and programming of the CNA and other non-credit healthcare programs for the Division of Workforce Affairs. This individual is a subject matter expert in all aspects of nursing and CNA licensing, and responsible for the daily operations, logistics, function of CNA programming, and management of the CNA team.

Required Competencies

  • Support the mission, vision, and values of NDSCS.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field.
  • Valid North Dakota Registered Nursing License.
  • Two years’ experience working as a Registered Nurse.
  • One years’ experience working in a long-term care facility.
  • Experience directly working alongside CNA’s in a long-term care facility.
  • North Dakota CNA Skills Test Observe certification, or ability to obtain certification within the first six months of employment.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, and as a team player to meet the CNA and department goals.
  • Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years management experience or leading a team.
  • Direct experience in an education setting and/or leading a training program.
  • Knowledge and experience in the adult learning process for training programs.
  • Experience using XenDirect software.

Additional Information

PAY: $60,000-$65,000 commensurate with education and experience
