Located in Joppa, MD
A warehouse in Joppa, MD is looking for a warehouse associate to join their growing team. This individual’s main repsonbilities would include shipping and reviewing, inventory, and processing sales orders. This is a 1st shift opportunity and per company policy, all applicants must have a HS Diploma or GED.
Common tasks:
- Receive and verify incoming materials
- Maintain stock areas and put away received product on bins
- Pick and prepare sales orders for outbound shipment
- Package outbound shipments effectively and schedule UPS/Fedex/LTL
- Required to be familiar with basic usage of computers
- Requires a good attention to detail along with being punctual and efficient.
Preferred skills include:
- Accurate data entry skills, basic math & reading skills
- Use of proper English grammar, written and verbal
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend and regular lifting of 50 lbs
- Basic mechanical knowledge, use of hand and mobile lift equipment, simple hand and power tools, weighing scale
Schedule
- Hours: 8am – 5pm
- Pay: $17/hour
