The Project Manager is responsible for managing projects and operational functions. Responsibilities include creating and managing project timelines, managing quality assurance, and analyzing and recommending appropriate inventory levels. This position plans, organizes and controls projects to ensure alignment with specifications, timelines, and project budgets.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively and proactively with Sales, Strategy, Design/Engineering and Production to develop project plans, set schedules and milestones, determine resources, estimate time and track costs.
• Manage all aspects of project schedule, ensuring accountability of team members
• Project performance reports for team, Account Directors and upper-level management
  • Program Status Report
  • Cost Analysis
  • Revenue Forecast
• Own communication and status updates on progress (both internal and external), reporting relevant delays or issues and budget implications to relevant stakeholders
• Facilitate meetings and reviews, distributing recaps to team members and project stakeholders identifying next steps and timing
• Risk Management
  • Determine project priority with Account Directors
  • Assess and communicate risks & mitigation
• Analyze and control inventory levels ensuring appropriate lead times, lowest possible cost and maximum inventory turns.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of related experience in project management, production, or operations
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification or relevant coursework with the goal of obtaining certification
• Experience managing multiple complex projects through manufacturing and distribution
• A working knowledge of manufacturing and print production processes, methodologies, and tools
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects concurrently and deal effectively with ambiguity
• Exhibit good motivational skills to bring out the best in team members
• Demonstrated success in leading and influencing without direct authority at all levels with internal staff and external clients
• Experience with inventory management and quality assurance
• Ability to think and act quickly making courageous decisions based on facts and prior experiences
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and project management applications such as Smartsheet, Asana or JIRA.
