Job Title: Core/Coil Stacker

Job Description

Join a leading electric and power management company at their expanding manufacturing facility. This location specializes in producing voltage regulators, three-phase transformers, single-phase, pole-mount, and pad-mount transformers. Utilize defined procedures, bills of materials, and equipment to assemble various sizes of transformers and related sub-assemblies. Rework damaged or defective components and complete assemblies with precision.

Responsibilities

• Operate bake oven for component processing.
• Perform coil hot tests, turn ratio testing (T.T.R), and hook-up procedures.
• Engage in low voltage welding and finishing tasks.
• Use lead press for component assembly.
• Stack cores efficiently.

Essential Skills

• Blueprint and drawing reading proficiency.
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in general labor or warehouse settings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• TIG welding skills.
• Experience in transformer or electrical fields.
• Comfortable working in hot, non-climate controlled environments.
• Familiarity with inventory management.

Work Environment

Work in a large, 200,000 sq ft facility that is in the process of expanding to 400,000 sq ft. The environment is hot and non-climate controlled, offering two shift options: Afternoon Shift from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday to Friday, or Night Shift from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, Sunday to Thursday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nacogdoches, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.75 - $21.75/hr.
