About The Role
As a Quality Control Analyst of our Corebridge Business Case Development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and correctness of all Request For Proposal responses submitted on behalf of the company. You will work in a dynamic, ever-changing, highly-detailed and deadline driven environment. People come to you as a “go-to” source for help and support because of your deep knowledge and expertise. As a more experienced team member, you are capable of driving continual improvement and impacting the way that things get done. Because of your influence, whether direct or indirect, we are able to deliver powerful outcomes for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Request For Proposal (RFP) Process:
- Review RFP prior to RFP Review meeting to identify all RFP highlights (e.g. plan Demographics, product requests, contract terms, various specifications)
- Participate in RFP Review Meetings with the assigned Bid Analyst
- Review Bid Analysts call invite, list of invitees, RFP highlights and milestones
- Discuss noted items from RFP review
- Participate in RFP Strategy Call
- Review call summary for accuracy and additional information the writer may have missed
- Provide content assistance with Statistics, Performance Guarantees, Production Requirements, Forms, Notary, MWBE, References, Document and Contract Review
- Review/Edit all created RFP documents for accuracy, grammar, voice and tone, formatting, and to ensure continuation of Corebridge’s story throughout the proposal
- Create and Review production day checklist (e.g. all detailed RFP shipping and delivery instructions) to ensure quality, consistent and correct response delivery and appropriate requested exhibits
- Spearhead and coordinate in office production to ensure accurate and timely production
- Production and Submittal Review of Databases, Electronic and Hard Copy RFPs
- Responsible for internal production samples (seeking, creating and organizing)
- Provide Legal Team with Legal analysis of the RFP and assign appropriate response metrics and personnel
- Post RFP Submittal
- Debrief meetings with RFP Team to assess improvements, capture key edits and prevent bottlenecks.
- Confirm on a weekly basis all shared drive folders, SharePoint, and RPI systems are up-to-date with accurate and complete case files (helps with auditing)
- Other Responsibilities:
- Provide mentorship and guidance to Bid Analyst and other team members
- Assist with process and procedures creation and updates
- Provide Company Statistics
- Seek internal production samples
- Seek Insurance Certificates
- Seek Notary
- Special legal projects
- Seek updated business licenses
- Special Management Requests
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university required
- 2+ years’ experience in project management with skills that include the ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple assignments in a high pressure, deadline driven environment required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong command of grammar, spelling, and proper business English
- Experience in professional editing and proofreading
- Experience in Legal Review a plus
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to apply strategic and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
- Experience in Financial Services, Life, Retirement, Annuities, Mutual Funds Industry preferred
- Experience in project management with skills that include the ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple assignments in a high pressure, deadline driven environment
- Effective time management and prioritization skills are required
Work Location
This position is based in Corebridge Financial’s Houston, TX office and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
