Our client is looking for a precision-focused Lathe Operator to join their 2nd shift production team. If you know your way around CNC lathes, manual machines, and aren’t afraid of some steel chips and serious specs—this might be your kind of gig.
You won’t just be cutting metal—you’ll be shaping the core components that help move massive machines around the world.
????️ Running CNC and manual lathes to craft high-precision parts like studs, frames, rollers, and more
????️ Reviewing detailed blueprints and inputting programs or making light edits to settings
???? Setting up tools, loading raw materials, and getting machines dialed in for the perfect cut
???? Performing test runs and inspecting parts throughout the process to ensure tight tolerances
???? Keeping your machine and work area organized, clean, and safe (no shortcuts here)
???? Logging hours and job details using the shop computer—quick badge scan in and out
???? Reporting equipment issues or material problems to the supervisor ASAP
➕ Supporting other duties to help keep production running smooth
✅ Have 2–4+ years of experience operating CNC and manual lathes/mills
???? Attended a trade school or skilled machining program (or gained skills on the job)
???? Can read blueprints and technical drawings like second nature
???? Obsess over precision, part quality, and machine performance
????️ Know your way around setup, basic troubleshooting, and tooling
???? Can work in a loud, industrial environment and lift 50+ lbs safely
Lathes, mills, shop computer, forklifts, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, safety gear (glasses, earplugs, gloves), and more. Bring your experience—we’ll supply the rest.
???? Pay: $25–$30/hr, depending on experience
