About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager - Data to join our Digital Product Team in Portugal. In this role, you’ll collaborate across all of our brands and markets, championing data-driven decision-making and enhancing our data infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:

  • Define Strategy & Roadmap: Shape the vision, objectives, and mid/long-term roadmap of the Data Team, ensuring scalability and compliance.
  • Identify Opportunities: Proactively spot areas in the business that could benefit from improved data usage and drive relevant initiatives.
  • Drive Data Science Initiatives: Partner with Data Science teams to conceptualize, develop, and implement recommender systems, forecasting models, marketing efficiency models focused on ROI, customer lifetime value prediction models, churn/reactivation predictions, and robust segmentation strategies.
  • Explore & Adopt Emerging AI Tools: Evaluate and introduce new AI tools—including those leveraging LLMs—to enhance data-driven insights, boost productivity, and drive innovation throughout the organization.
  • Experimentation: Support the framework for A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other experimental setups, ensuring data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Translate Requirements: Gather stakeholder needs, clarify requests, and convert them into actionable briefs for Data Product and Engineering teams providing valuable business context along the way.
  • Prioritize & Coordinate: Manage and prioritize incoming requests based on strategic goals, team capacity, and infrastructure dependencies.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with other Digital Product Managers to ensure data support is seamlessly integrated across different product areas.
  • Run Agile Ceremonies: Organize and facilitate key Data Team meetings (Sprint planning, grooming, daily stand-ups, reviews).
  • Vendor Management: Oversee external partners for BI, Data Engineering, and Data Infrastructure, including budget and contracts.
  • Promote Data Adoption: Advocate for best practices around data usage, maintain the data dictionary, and foster a data-first culture throughout the organization.

Your Profile:

  • Technical Aptitude: Solid grasp of data ecosystems, integrations, and data warehousing.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Experience working with both technical and non-technical teams across the organization.
  • Proactive & Driven: You don’t wait for tasks to come to you—you’re always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Business Acumen: Passion for understanding various areas of the business and strong data skills to interpret and drive key metrics.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile and Scrum practices.
  • BI Tool Experience: Prior hands-on experience with BI, Analytics and Data Warehousing tools (e.g., Looker, Snowflake, Amplitude).
