At GXO, we are looking for a Senior Project & CI Manager to join our ASOS contract in Barnsley. You will be driving change through lean principles. Rather than focusing solely on project delivery your role will centre on streamlining processes, eliminating waste and optimising efficiencies. You will be responsible for identifying and delivering strategic deliverables, ensuring project plans and deadlines are met & reporting to all levels of the business on key metrics.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Working Monday – Friday, with working hours of 08:30 till 17:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary up to £60,000 per annum plus a generous car allowance. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Take full responsibility for the definition, documentation, and successful completion of assigned projects
  • Provide support to colleague development through completion of Lean training programs, such as yellow & green belt projects (Coaching & Mentoring)
  • Ownership of the strategic deployment process collaborating with senior teams including; management of timeline for projects, and visualisation and governance of the process
  • Delivery of Continuous Improvement plans in line with the business objectives through; scoping and costing of proposed improvements, facilitation of Kaizen workshops and measurements and tracking of improvements

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Strong understanding of Lean/Six Sigma tools and concepts, with experience in hands on workshop delivery (Black belt or equivalent level)
  • Experience in leading others to deliver outcomes within a fast-paced environment
  • Must have exceptional communication skills
  • Strong ability to understand and interpret complex information
