Responsibilities
Job Summary
Under the direction of the supervisor, this position must perform all functions related to a minimum of two modalities: including CT or MRI or serve the Hybrid OR in addition to general Radiology Technologist duties.
Performs high quality procedures that require ingenuity, initiative and independent judgment. Duties include and are not limited to performing routine test, monitoring the quality of tests, and obtaining maintenance service on equipment. This position may require providing technical and imaging support at any HonorHealth facility in the network. Technologist must routinely perform procedures in these modalities.

Education
High School Diploma or GED Required
Experience
<10 months clinical CT, MRI, Hybrid OR or one (1) year general radiology experience Required
Licenses and Certifications
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Current and valid American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Completion of an ARRT accredited Radiology General Procedures program or US military Radiology General Procedures training program Required
Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRTLC) Current and valid AZ CRT Licensure Required
Radiology Tech (ARRT) License Current and valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (RT) Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required
If CT is secondary modality - CTP (Computed Tomography preceptor license) and achieve ARRT CT registry and AZ CTCT licensure within 1 year. Required
If MRI is secondary modality - ARRT or ARMRIT MRI certification/registry Required
