Ansell is looking for an Associate Director, Regional Category Management to join our team in Iselin, NJ!

In this position you will play a vital role in leading brand and product strategy for the Chemical business, aligning global portfolio with regional needs. Drives growth, differentiation, and execution of initiatives (pricing, NPD, claims, promotions) in coordination with global, regulatory, marketing, and sales teams. Provides market insight, supports tenders, and enables regional activation to optimize category performance.

What your role will be?

  • Manage Chemical portfolio (gloves, sleeves, RIGS and all BP apparel & accessories) in North America across key segments.
  • Develop and execute product strategy based on customer, market, and competitive insights.
  • Define regional pricing strategy and monitor product KPIs.
  • Lead portfolio positioning and cost optimization.
  • Align demand trends with global supply and LRP planning.
  • Monitor sales, pricing, and competition to meet revenue and margin goals.
  • Provide data for tenders and product updates.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory/legal requirements and address product issues.
  • Partner with supply chain to improve forecasting, cost, and S&OP processes.
  • Maintain product data in SAP, Oracle, MDM/PDH, and sample systems.
  • Act as regional product expert; train and onboard Sales teams.
  • Lead customer insights, research, and product trials to shape strategy.
  • Support innovation roadmap and stay ahead of competitors.
  • Ensure market feedback informs product decisions.
  • Align with global on innovation and product rejuvenation pipeline.
  • Drive commercialization of new and optimized products.
  • Lead product launches and change management.
  • Identify unmet customer needs to drive growth opportunities.
  • Support sustainability and social impact through product innovation.

What will you bring to Ansell?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in PPE and/or the safety industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, product portfolio management and/ or business development.
  • Leadership experience is essential.
  • Experience in leading or coordinating cross-functional teams and in working in a matrix organization.
  • Knowledge of selling through diverse distribution channels.
  • Experience of working with non-EU countries.
  • Experience in a global / multinational environment.
  • Project Management experience is desirable.
  • PPE experience preferred.
