Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee maintenance operations across three healthcare facilities, ensuring optimal building systems and equipment functionality. You will lead the general repairs and scheduled maintenance activities, acting as the primary contact for maintenance responsibilities in the absence of a Chief Engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Run maintenance operations on three healthcare facilities: Livingston, Humble, and Tomball.
  • Lead general repairs and scheduled maintenance of building systems and equipment.
  • Oversee maintenance responsibilities and communicate directly with the property management team.
  • Ensure the orderliness of the property and oversight of maintenance systems.
  • Complete work orders related to physical maintenance and repairs using work order software.
  • Implement routine physical improvements and respond to emergencies in line with departmental protocol.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining equipment, tools, and supply inventories and logs.
  • Implement and maintain a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan.
  • Assist with controlling expenses associated with building operations.
  • Communicate effectively regarding building status and changes.
  • Adhere to safety standards, policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.
  • Act professionally and courteously with tenants, hospital clients, coworkers, vendors, and patients.
  • Utilize materials, supplies, tools, and building property safely and productively.

Essential Skills

  • 3 years of maintenance experience in a commercial setting.
  • Experience working with HVAC/BAS (building automation systems) for over 3 years.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well with others.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge in mechanical repair and facilities maintenance.
  • Experience in implementing preventive maintenance plans.

Work Environment

The role involves working within healthcare facilities with office hours from 7 AM to 4 PM, including rotating weekends and occasional overtime.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Humble, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
