NOTICE OF JOB OPPORTUNITY

COMPANY: Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation

LOCATION: 4201 Marsh Lane, Carrollton, TX 75007

TITLE: Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

DUTIES:

• Software Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions tailored to business requirements; support business processes; and enhance user experiences.
• UI Development: Develop intuitive and responsive user interfaces using modern web technologies and frameworks.
• Cloud Services: Utilize cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to develop and deploy scalable applications.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to software engineers and lead by example in coding best practices and software design principles.
• Architecture and Design: Contribute to the architectural decisions and design of software systems to ensure they are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
• Automation: Implement automation solutions to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• API Integration: Integrate with third-party services and APIs to extend functionality and interoperability.
• On-Premises Technologies: Work with on-premises technologies and infrastructure, as needed. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, business analysts, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for software solutions and processes.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve software defects and issues promptly.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related.
• Four (4) years of experience in any occupation with Development experience or related.
• Four (4) years of experience in any occupation with Development experience or related experience must include:
• Four (4) years of programming experience using the following languages: Java and C#, Python or a similar language, and JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Four (4) years of web development experience using one of the following frameworks: Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Four (4) years of website creation experience using one of the following technologies: Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, or ASP.NET.
• Four (4) years of middleware and platform experience using RESTful/SOAP API design and implementation. Four (4) years of relational database experience with one of the following databases: SQL Server or Oracle.
• Four (4) years’ experience working on large-scale, consumer-facing web applications or internal user interfaces.
• Four (4) years’ experience working in an agile software development framework with one of the following: Scrum or Kanban.
• Three (3) years of project management and documentation/repository tools experience working with all of the following: JIRA, Confluence, and BitBucket.
• Two (2) years’ experience working with cloud services using AWS or Azure and on-premises technologies using SharePoint or SQL Server.
• Two (2) years’ experience implementing microservices architecture and serverless computing.
• Two (2) years of experience working in the financial services industry.
• One (1) year of experience using DevOps practices and tools using one of the following: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines on Jenkins, or Azure DevOps must also include: Relevant certifications in cloud computing, software development, or related areas.

TELECOMMUTING EMPLOYEE: Reports to the company worksite in Carrollton, TX. Can work remotely or telecommute up to 100%.
