Capability for majority of HW Remote or on-site tasks - mentorship or coaching required for Non routine/Complex tasks not completed previously

Focus Area: Repairs

Use tools, replace parts, improve settings, to execute repairs and standard service actions independently.

Growing knowledge and skills on primary technical competency including department WoW. Focus on gaining escalation handling skills within primary competency.

Integrated System Understanding

75% Remote / On-site for assumes escalation support available to backup diagnostics process for field engineer.

Focus Areas:Repairs

Training/Advice

Explain / take care appropriate actions to field engineer fix malfunctions, recommend changes in coach procedures when needed.

Coaching

Provide appropriate support and assistance to less experienced field engineers.

Knowledge Skill

Understands the function of the primary competency/subsystem in the entire system. Understands the relationships found in KPIs relative to the primary competency.

Tech Solution Capability

100% (Execution) - 50% (Interpretation) Executes all Prescribed tasks with proficiency Interpretation of results and influence on product ~50%.

Focus Areas: Repairs

Problem analysis and approach

Gather all information relevant for the problem, analyze using available means, gather additional diagnostic info if needed, decide on initial approach to solve problem and execute, consult with others.

Problem handovers and routing

Handover problem or problem aspects to others (GSC support), document and package all data relevant for problem resolution (e.g. pass-downs, system problem reports, technical reports).

Knowledge build-up and transfer

Focus is on gaining technical knowledge and solving problems of "today". Becoming familiar with relative structural issues resolution process(es).
