Description:

INPATIENT, CRITICAL CARE PHARMACIST

BOISE REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER

Provides pharmaceutical care to critical care patients of Saint Alphonsus hospitals in Idaho. Provide medication counsel. Mentor the next generation of pharmacists.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required. Residency preferred.
  • Must be licensed as a Pharmacist with the Idaho State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Inpatient experience required.
  • Within 6 months of hire, ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required
  • Adaptable to institutional roles and schedules.

HOURS:

You will enjoy three days off a week. The shifts will include four 10s with shared weekend support among the team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Demonstrates knowledge and skills to competently care for Critical Care, adults and child.
  • Reviews patient history incorporating various pharmacy activities providing customers with adequate education for optimum outcomes.
  • Prepares pharmaceutical products for patients’ use by safe and cost-effective methods using acceptable professional standards.
  • Comprehends and supports quality assurance and risk management issues.
  • Participates in various departmental duties, material resource management, clerical and financial responsibilities, safety, and other issues.
  • Supervises technicians and pharmacy support staff.
