NI Head of Legal for Global Webscale & Alliances

As Head of Legal for Global Webscale and Alliances, you will join a diverse team in a fast paced and supporting environment. You will lead a team supporting Nokia’s global webscaler and alliances customers drawing on your legal and solid webscaler ecosystem experience . You will shape growth and strategy in these key customer segments, collaborate with regional legal teams, manage complex sales agreements, and resolve disputes. This role offers professional growth and insights into diverse legal challenges beyond contractual and commercial issues. This position reports to the General Counsel of our Network Infrastructure (NI) business group.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • Provide strategic legal support on complex multi jurisdictional agreements.
  • Develop Nokia's legal position with BigWeb and Global Alliance customers.
  • Negotiate to resolve conflicts and secure desired outcomes to bolster Nokia’s growth in these key segments.
  • Identify and advise stakeholders on key legal and contractual risks and mitigations, securing deal approvals.
  • Develop and offer training of different formats to different audiences inside the company
  • Develop and execute solutions for channel conflicts within the company.
  • Work across departments and jurisdictions in a leading technology company.
  • Collaborate with regional teams due to specific local requirements for local arrangements.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Seeking a qualified lawyer with extensive experience in telecommunications transactional legal advice and contracting with expertise in Webscalers or Global Alliances.
  • Must be qualified to practice in a key jurisdiction where Nokia operates. USA would be ideal for this position.
  • Demonstrated solid experience in handling complex legal matters on a global scale.
  • Experience working for a complex international highly matrix organization in a similar position.
  • Ability to align Nokia's business strategy with sales contracting priorities is essential.
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a matrixed organization.
  • Prior experience and knowledge in regulatory or intellectual property law would be advantageous.
