Previous experience in medical collections or related field is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records systems, and coding practices is essential. Strong understanding of medical billing processes and insurance verification procedures. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Proficient in using computer systems for tracking collections and managing patient accounts.
