Job summary:

The job scope for a role covering the overall SAP Warehouse Management System (WMS) and IT hardware support.

Job Responsibilities:

1. IT Hardware Support:

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware used in the warehouse, such as barcode scanners, printers, handheld devices, and workstations.
• Ensuring the warehouse’s IT network is stable and secure, including managing wireless networks used by warehouse devices.
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware issues to minimize downtime in warehouse operations.
• Coordinating with vendors for repairs or replacements of faulty equipment.
• Planning and executing hardware upgrades or replacements to keep the warehouse IT infrastructure up to date.
• Keeping an inventory of all IT hardware, ensuring proper asset management, and maintaining records of warranties and maintenance schedules.
• Providing technical support to warehouse staff, raise ticket to central IT to resolve IT-related issues quickly to avoid disruptions in operations.

2. SAP Warehouse Management System (WMS) Support:

• Training warehouse staff on using the SAP WMS effectively.
• Providing ongoing support to users, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth operation of the system.
• Implementing best practices to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
• UAT Coordination: Collaborate with end-users to execute UAT, ensuring they understand the test cases and the expected outcomes.
• User Support: Provide support to users during UAT, addressing any questions or issues they encounter

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in similar industries, managing the responsibilities above or anything equivalent.
• Any prior experience in any logistics, supply chain or 3PL environment would be an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates with a minimum course completion CGPA of 3.0 are welcomed to apply as well.
• At least a bachelor’s degree in information technologies, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any other related fields.
• Proven experience in enterprise resource planning (ERP) and warehouse management system (WMS), especially SAP WMS.
• Demonstrate expertise and good knowledge in supply chain management, warehousing, and distribution practices.
• Possess knowledge in project management.
• Proven experience in IT/system change management.
• Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point).
• Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken.
