Job Summary:

As part of iQor’s global brand marketing team, the Communications Manager leads and executes strategic communications efforts that elevate brand awareness, support business growth, and promote a unified voice across global channels. Reporting to the head of brand marketing, this position oversees a high-impact portfolio of global communications functions in English— including media relations, social media, web presence, corporate awards, and executive speaking opportunities — while directly managing and mentoring a small team of communications professionals.

This role requires a strategic thinker and strong writer who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves to write content, pitch media, or post on social. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and passionate about clear, consistent storytelling that reflects a fast-evolving brand.

Qualified candidates will be invited to submit writing samples and participate in interviews with members of the Brand Marketing team. A short practical assignment may be included as part of the process

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a global communications strategy that supports iQor’s business goals and brand positioning across markets and platforms.
  • Lead and manage a team of communications professionals supporting media relations, social media, website content, and internal and external messaging.
  • Personally contribute to writing, editing, and content development across key communication areas, including press releases, web copy, and campaign messaging.
  • Own and evolve iQor’s media relations program—identifying media opportunities, developing story angles, managing outreach, and securing placements.
  • Oversee and guide content strategy and execution for global social media channels in partnership with the brand team and designers.
  • Manage and optimize content for iQor.com in collaboration with the webmaster and digital team; ensure SEO best practices, brand alignment, and message clarity.
  • Collaborate with the internal communications team for brand alignment and messaging and support crisis communications as needed by the business continuity team.
  • Coordinate corporate awards submissions and third-party recognition programs that promote iQor’s brand, culture, innovation, and leadership.
  • Manage the process for identifying and coordinating external speaking opportunities for executives; ensure alignment with messaging, events, and media strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across marketing, sales, HR, operations, and leadership to align messaging and ensure brand consistency.
  • Track communications performance metrics and KPIs; provide reporting and insights that inform future content and strategy.

Skills & Experience Requirements:

  • 6–8+ years of experience in corporate communications, marketing communications, or public relations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong writing and editorial skills across formats (press releases, web copy, executive messaging, social, awards, internal comms, etc.).
  • Excellent command of the English language and AP Style.
  • Proven experience managing media relations programs and securing earned media coverage.
  • Hands-on experience managing B2B social media accounts, with an eye for audience engagement and content planning.
  • Understanding of website content management (WordPress preferred), SEO, and content optimization.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience coordinating across time zones and global teams a plus.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms such as HubSpot, Wrike, Canva, Google Analytics, and media databases like Muck Rack or Cision.
  • Strategic mindset combined with a willingness to execute tactically.
  • High attention to detail, creative thinking, and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
