JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Department of Geosciences is seeking applicants for a part-time job of Research Assistant focused on Cretaceous Antarctica.

Job duties to include:

• The research assistant will prepare sediment and rock samples from Seymour Island, Antarctica for geochemical analysis, including mercury concentration and organic carbon concentration and isotopic compositions. The assistant will then analyze the data and aid in interpretations.
