Division Description
The California Housing Finance Agency (CalHFA) Information Technology (IT) Division is responsible for providing secure, responsive, and innovative technical infrastructure, systems, and services that enable the Agency to achieve its strategic objectives and fulfill its mission. The duties of the Information Security and Exchange Team include protecting agency data by means of policies, procedures, and training. The security team is the main point of contact for agency staff needing assistance with information security or Office 365.
Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the Information Technology Manager I, the Information Technology Associate is responsible for a variety of work assignments for the Information Security and Exchange Unit. The incumbent is responsible for using judgment and problemsolving skills within guidelines and scope of Information Technology operations.

BE REINSTATEMENT ELIGIBLE:
Have obtained previous permanent employment with the State of California in the same classification or in a classification that is comparable.
