Programs Field Representative

H11A AFS Annual Salary $52,642.81 + Full State Employee Benefits

Travel is occasional. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance.

Preferred Minimum Qualifications

• A master’s degree and three years of professional experience in social work, child support, adult protective services, child welfare, early childhood development and education, guidance and counseling, nursing, intellectual disability, probation and parole, public administration, community-based prevention, and diversionary youth services programs, juvenile justice, rehabilitation counseling, vocational evaluation or vocational rehabilitation;
• OR an equivalent combination and experience, substituting 1 additional year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education.
• Professional experience in the fields listed must have been the primary job responsibility to be considered as qualifying. Incidental performance of professional work in any area(s) shall not be considered.

Job Responsibilities:

Provides statewide leadership and responsibility for Adult and Family Services Information Security and Data Exchange. This includes organizational ability to plan, supervise, assign and coordinate the activities regarding permissions to case management software and the safeguarding of data for programs administered by AFS. Specifically, administers access and supports all external partners who have data exchange agreements with AFS. This includes, but is not limited, to The Assisted Housing providers, Tribal Food Distribution Programs, State Auditors, OHCA staff, Dept. of Rehabilitation Staff, Federal Partners, and external contractors for a variety of programs. Provides backup access and support for all external applications within the unit's purview. This includes SAVE (Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlement), Asset Verification System, OSIIS, and all OHCA applications. This position is the AFS Federal Tax Information Specialist and as such, the only one with access to Federal Tax Information from the IRS. Position is charged with reviewing, evaluating, and taking appropriate action on all discrepancies received from the IRS. Position is responsible for safeguarding the Federal Tax Information, and seeing that it is appropriately handled, secured, and then disposed of after it has served its purpose per Federal guidelines.

Operational support encompasses the systems, processes, and resources that facilitate the smooth functioning of Adult and Family Services daily operations.

This position is critical in the administration of all OKDHS Adult and Family Services functions including, but not limited to:

• Providing statewide Operational Support for internal and external users of the AFS case management processing and benefit delivery systems.
• Responsible for planning, analyzing, and improving processes for customer support and communicating changes efficiently and effectively.
• Providing training and technical support statewide to division personnel, field staff in all Service Centers and staff of other Divisions and state agencies.
• Responding to written and verbal inquiries received from outside the Division regarding AFS systems and program related matters.
• Providing access/permissions to necessary tools, equipment, and resources, sharing best practices and setting up accounts/onboarding.
• Advising product development teams by providing insight from interactions with the field staff
