Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

Join a rapidly growing, family-owned company seeking a skilled CNC Machinist. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in the machining industry, with proficiency in running, tearing down, setting up machines, and efficiently operating off blueprints.

Responsibilities

  • Run, tear down, set up, and changeover CNC machines in a job shop environment.
  • Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and layouts accurately.
  • Work with tight tolerances of .05.
  • Operate CNC mills with dual spindle capabilities and CNC lathes.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years in manufacturing.
  • Experience with CNC mills and lathes.
  • Proficiency in blueprint interpretation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with HAAS machines.
  • Trade school certification.
  • Knowledge of CNC Punch Press & Press Brake.
  • Programming skills in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and GibbsCAM.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled job shop environment, supplying parts for the automotive industry and other major clients. Collaborate with fellow machinists in a fast-paced yet easy-going setting. The first shift runs Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with Saturday hours from 6 AM to 10 AM as needed. Dress code includes jeans, shirt, and steel-toe boots, with uniforms provided upon direct hire.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $32.00/hr.
