Customer Service - Parts Department

The parts coordinator is responsible for managing the parts ordering and return service process, including contacting customers to schedule in-home service visits, ordering and tracking parts through manufacturers, and updating part statuses in the RC Willey system. This role maintains accurate bench stock records, provides parts quotes, processes customer payments, and ensures timely and clear communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will resolve part-related issues efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Starting Pay: $16.50 per hour.

Schedule: Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. (Flexible Schedule).

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact customers to schedule in-home return service appointments for parts that have arrived in stock.
  • Order parts for in-house repair shops, track orders through the manufacturer, and update part statuses in the RC Willey system.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of bench stock parts.
  • Order parts for customers, provide price quotes, and process customer payments.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with customers, including regular status updates.
  • Interact professionally and positively with customers, vendors, and team members.
  • Resolve part-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • All other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in using Google Workspace applications (Gmail, Docs, Drive) and general computer operating systems and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
