This role offers up to $24 per hour and the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment applying advanced color measurement technology and materials science.

✨ Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed color matching and formulation adjustments
• Conduct chemical experiments and develop testing procedures to ensure product durability and accuracy
• Prepare samples and test materials in accordance with ASTM standards and preservation guidelines
• Collaborate with team members on sample creation, testing, and data collection
• Assist in evaluating new materials and performing performance assessments
• Support small batch production and provide operational assistance in the lab and factory setting
• Troubleshoot and solve technical challenges related to color formulations
• Document findings and maintain accurate lab records

???? Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of chemical principles, lab safety, and proper handling of materials
• Experience with color measurement tools and formulation techniques is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
• Prior experience with ASTM standards or historic preservation guidelines is advantageous
