Job Description:

Wiss is seeking a highly motivated Manager to join our growing Law Firm Services practice in Florham Park, NJ. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about forensic accounting, valuation, and litigation consulting. The Manager will lead complex engagements, provide expert testimony, and mentor staff while maintaining the highest standards of client service and professional integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage forensic accounting, valuation, and litigation support engagements from planning through execution.
  • Perform complex financial analyses, conduct forensic investigations, and prepare expert reports, affidavits, and demonstrative exhibits for litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Provide expert testimony in a variety of litigation matters, including marital disputes, economic damages, and shareholder disputes.
  • Collaborate with Partners and other Managers to resolve client matters, develop strategies, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Inspire, lead, and mentor staff by reviewing work products, providing feedback, and supporting professional growth and development.
  • Conduct industry and client-specific research and analysis to support case development and valuation conclusions.
  • Assist with interviews and documentation of client business processes and internal control environments relevant to litigation matters.
  • Maintain active communication with clients and internal stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices through professional development forums, networking events and training seminars.
  • Uphold strict client confidentiality and the highest degree of professional standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance; MBA is a PLUS
  • CPA is highly preferred. ABV, CVA, CFF, CFE, CFA or other related certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in forensic accounting, valuation, or litigation support.
  • Demonstrate concentrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and polished communication skills
  • Provide exceptional client service, demonstrate a commitment to excellence, display appropriate ethical knowledge, exhibit a sense of urgency, commitment to quality and execute all duties in a timely fashion
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment while comfortably interacting with other Managers and Partners, including supporting the preparation of and participating in executive briefings
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed, as well as working beyond normal core business hours to ensure key deliverables are met
